Health information PulseLife reads
With your Health authorization, PulseLife can read heart rate, resting heart rate, steps, active energy, distance, exercise, VO2 max, heart-rate variability, wrist temperature, sleep, and workouts when those types are available. It calculates local scores and trends. A shared app-group snapshot used by widgets can include summary health scores, trends, sleep times and stages, heart-rate values, and temperature.
Local and read-only design
PulseLife's HealthKit access is read-only. It has no PulseLife account, CloudKit health store, developer backend, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics service. Health samples remain governed by Apple Health and their original sources. The app and widget share a limited local summary through an Apple app-group container.
Authorization and Apple Health
You choose Health categories to authorize and can review or revoke access in Apple Health or system settings. Apple Health, Apple Watch, and the apps or devices that write samples process data under their own policies. PulseLife cannot read a category that you have not authorized or that no source has provided.
Retention and your controls
PulseLife stores its widget snapshot and preferences locally in the app's shared app-group container until they are overwritten or the app and widget data are removed. Revoking Health access stops future reads but does not erase the summary already stored for the widget; opening PulseLife can replace that summary with current authorized data. PulseLife does not maintain a developer-held account. Manage original Health samples in Apple Health and their source apps.
Website analytics
PulseLife Vitals's page on brentgaddis.com uses first-party, aggregate website analytics operated through Cloudflare. The site counts page views and allowlisted actions such as opening an App Store, support, or privacy link; it also keeps coarse source, country, device, browser, operating-system, engagement, performance, and reliability totals. It does not store raw event rows, visitor or session identities, IP or hashed-IP identifiers, cookie or local-storage visitor IDs, full user agents, full referrers or URLs, form contents, arbitrary text, or a person's raw click history. Country and source cells below five are suppressed, and aggregates are retained for up to 24 months. Cloudflare still processes request and network metadata as necessary to deliver and protect the site. These website measurements are separate from the app.
