RemoteLens Pro support
How can I help?
Brent Gaddis provides support for RemoteLens Pro through the monitored gaddisapps@icloud.com address. RemoteLens Pro support covers pairing, trust, local-network discovery, camera and microphone permission, capture saving, range, foreground behavior, and connection quality. Email gaddisapps@icloud.com with both app/OS versions, device models, the permission state, and a redacted error. Do not send recordings or images unless necessary and chosen by you.
Common questions
Why can the controller and camera device not find or trust each other?
Keep RemoteLens open and in the correct role on both nearby devices, enable Local Network and Bonjour access, and confirm both devices are on a compatible local connection. Accept the trust prompt on the camera device. The app remembers up to 12 trusted devices; forget an old device if needed.
Why is there no video, audio, motion control, or saved capture?
The camera device needs Camera permission, Microphone permission for audio, Motion permission for motion-based controls where used, and Photos Add permission to save captures. Keep the app in the foreground and within usable local-network range. Temporary connection or storage failure can interrupt a recording.
Who is responsible for recording consent and safe use?
You are responsible for permission to record, local notice and consent laws, device placement, and safe operation. RemoteLens is not a security, emergency, surveillance, or guaranteed connection service. Do not use it where a delay, disconnect, or missed capture could cause harm.
