PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Trips use private CloudKit sharing. Only invited people who accept can access the trip. There are no ads or third-party analytics.

BUILT FOR REAL TRAVEL

Apple Maps powers destination search and route estimates. Background location is used only during an active sharing session when you enable it and grant permission.

RouteTogether is not an emergency or safety-monitoring service and does not provide turn-by-turn navigation. ETAs depend on Apple Maps, location accuracy, connectivity, and traffic availability.
