Common questions

Why is MPG, fuel cost, or estimated range different from the vehicle?

RV Fuel calculates from the odometer, gallons, tank, fill-up, and cost values you enter. Partial fills, towing, terrain, weather, generator use, unit mistakes, and vehicle sensors can produce different results. Treat all range and fuel figures as estimates and keep a safe reserve.

Why are entries or receipts different on another device?

If CloudKit sync is enabled, confirm both devices use the intended iCloud account, have network access, and allow time for Apple sync. Offline or simultaneous edits can conflict. Optional Sign in with Apple identifies the local app session but signing out alone does not delete synced data.

How do I delete my RV Fuel account and data?

Use the in-app account and data deletion action rather than only signing out. It removes local records, receipts, temporary files, reminders, Apple identity state, and the app’s private CloudKit data, then tells other connected devices to clear when they reconnect. PDFs already exported remain where you saved or shared them.

Who handles App Store billing or refund requests?

Apple processes App Store purchases and eligible refund requests and does not provide RV Fuel Pro with your full payment-card details. Use Apple’s Report a Problem service or Apple Support for a billing or refund request. Contact RV Fuel Pro support for an app-function problem.

Can I rely on an MPG, fuel-cost, or range estimate for safety?

No. Results depend on the values you enter and can differ because of gauge accuracy, terrain, towing, generator use, weather, tank shape, reserve fuel, driving, or mechanical conditions. Verify fuel and range using the vehicle gauge, manufacturer guidance, conservative reserves, and safe trip planning. RV Fuel Pro does not guarantee that fuel is sufficient to reach a destination.
