Level and setup information
RV Level processes device-motion pitch and roll, optional Bluetooth sensor name and readings, calibration values, rig and tolerance settings, voice and haptic choices, display-pairing state, and review preferences. It does not need a user account or precise geographic location for these features.
Local processing and nearby sharing
RV Level Pro does not require an account or use a developer cloud database, backend, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics service. Its optional nearby display uses Apple Multipeer Connectivity with transport encryption required; the session shares pitch, roll, level state, timestamp, tolerance, and the devices' nearby peer names. Optional voice feedback is generated on the device with Apple system speech.
Permissions and devices
Motion access provides pitch and roll. Bluetooth is used only for compatible optional sensor features. Local Network and nearby discovery are used for an iPad or other display connection. A paired nearby device receives the level values needed to show the session; pair only with a device you control.
Retention and your controls
Calibration, rig dimensions, tolerance, voice, haptic, display, onboarding, and review preferences remain locally until the relevant setting is changed or reset, or the app is removed. Live motion and Bluetooth readings, nearby peer names, and remote-display payloads are held for the active session and are not stored in a developer account.
Website analytics
RV Level Pro's page on brentgaddis.com uses first-party, aggregate website analytics operated through Cloudflare. The site counts page views and allowlisted actions such as opening an App Store, support, or privacy link; it also keeps coarse source, country, device, browser, operating-system, engagement, performance, and reliability totals. It does not store raw event rows, visitor or session identities, IP or hashed-IP identifiers, cookie or local-storage visitor IDs, full user agents, full referrers or URLs, form contents, arbitrary text, or a person's raw click history. Country and source cells below five are suppressed, and aggregates are retained for up to 24 months. Cloudflare still processes request and network metadata as necessary to deliver and protect the site. These website measurements are separate from the app.
