NetLens support
How can I help?
Brent Gaddis provides support for NetLens through the monitored gaddisapps@icloud.com address. NetLens support covers request capture, filtering, performance diagnostics, HTTPS/debug logging behavior, JavaScript console errors, captured export output, and certificate or proxy scenarios. Email gaddisapps@icloud.com with app and OS versions, endpoint examples, and a redacted repro flow. Do not send private credentials, full request bodies, or sensitive tokens.
Common questions
Why am I not seeing any network requests?
Confirm the app has permission to monitor traffic for the target page or app flow, restart the target session, and ensure you are testing on a supported iOS/iPadOS version. If HTTPS is using a certificate pinning pattern, some requests may be intentionally hidden. Capture status and selected app settings can affect what appears in NetLens.
Why can't I copy cURL output or full headers?
Some requests can be redacted for security or privacy policy constraints, especially around authorization and sensitive payloads. If the request is multipart or encrypted payload-heavy, NetLens may provide summary fields without exposing secrets. Update to the latest version and confirm any preview or export toggles in settings.
What should I do before exporting debug output?
Review entries for tokens, session IDs, emails, device tokens, auth cookies, device identifiers, and endpoint-specific secrets. Remove or redact sensitive values before sharing screenshots or exported logs. For support, share only minimal examples and remove private endpoints when possible.
